How the Donation is Made
SCCU will make your Giving Loan donation in your name to any registered charity or nonprofit that you choose. If you don’t have a charity picked out, we recommend our three favorite community causes as excellent choices:
- Children’s Miracle Network
- Spokane Library Foundation
- Spokane Parks Foundation
Learn more about how we invest in our Community by working with these organizations regularly, even beyond the donations from Giving Loans.
Giving Loan Terms: The member must provide the name and address of the charity or nonprofit of their choice. SCCU will validate the charity/nonprofit information before forwarding the donation. Funds will be sent to the organization in the month after the loan is taken out. Funds will be remitted by SCCU check with the donor’s name in the memo field, along with their address.
